About Boxing -
Bouts between males and females are not allowed

For both boy and girl Bantam age group (Junior B) two (2) competitors will box for three (3) rounds of one and onehalf (1 1/2) minutes with a one (1) minute rest between rounds

For male and female Midget, Juvenile, Junior and Senior age groups -

NOVICE- both male and female Junior C, Youth and Senior - two (2) competitors will box for three (3) rounds of two (2) minutes each with a one (1) minute rest between rounds

OPEN- both male and female Junior C and female Youth and Senior - two (2)competitors will box for three (3) rounds of two (2) minutes each with a one (1) minute rest between rounds

OPEN - male Youth and Senior - two competitors will box for four (4) rounds of two (2) minutes each with a one (1) minute rest between rounds

Note:
When a novice boxer, Junior C male or female open boxer, or female Youth or Senior boxer is down ( eight counted) twice in a round the bout shall be stopped When a Youth or Senior male boxer is down (eight counted) three times in a round the bout shall be stopped
